Project goals

The goals of this WikiProject are to:

Revamp, improve, expand, reference, rewrite, wikify and cleanup all articles within the scope of this project.
Promote articles within the scope to a higher status (GA, FA, etc) and maintain the article to prevent its demotion from its current status.
Complete the project's current tasks, and create new tasks.

Assessment and content guidelines

WikiProject Guns N' Roses uses the assessment scales of its parent, the Rock music WikiProject, but it uses its own set of importance guidelines.

Importance scale
Top	For the article Guns N' Roses, and for all current band members.
High	For all former band members, all albums and high-selling singles.
Mid	All other singles, all other band member bands, Guns N' Roses tours.
Low	Guns N' Roses' past record labels, other related personalities, album tracks (i.e. not singles).

Parents and relatives

The WikiProject has many WikiProject-parents and WikiProject-relatives. Grandparent of the project is the Music WikiProject, and main parent of the project is WikiProject Rock music.

Uncles and aunties include WikiProject Alternative music, WikiProject Metal and WikiProject Punk music. The WikiProject also has cousins (in no particular order): the Red Hot Chili Peppers project, WikiProject Trivium, WikiProject Aerosmith, among others.
